This is what the card says. I have kept the original spelling and words. "Poor Mom! Forty years on this old earth! Yes, forty years since her birth! She has been with us for 15 years. You think we'd be enough to strip her of her gears! But she struggles on day after day, with little of nothing for her pay. Wether we show it or not we appreciate what you do. Remember mom, we all love you! P.S Excuse the spelling!" Then on the back: "Forty years, you poor old soul, ....want to know, do you feel ol'? We're just kidding, you really don't look that way, Most of the time you are happy and gay!"

John Tillman is the father of Rose (Tillman) Gerleman. This is John and Mary Tillman later in their marriage. The writing on the back says they were the parents of Fred, Edward, Hubert, Catherine, Rose, Elizabeth, Mary and Sophie.

This would make them also the great- grandparents of Michael, Kelly, and James Gerleman and Diane (Gerleman) Lentz.

Sophia Miller? The back of this photo reads "Sophia Miller, Mother of Earl, Father of Helen, Mother of Marlys". However, there is some dispute as to the real identity. People who knew Sophie Miller say this is not her. I pity the fox who tried to steal a chicken from her yard!
